mondomulia

Italian food blogger and photographer living in London.

My blog, Mondomulia, was launched in 2011 as a way to develop my passions of photography, coffee, baking, food styling and writing.

Visit MONDOMULIA.COM to discover recipes and reviews of the London food scene as well as travel features.

A few weeks ago I was invited by a friend to After Hours, a pop-up event held at Ozone Coffee Roasters in Shoreditch.
After Hours invites different chefs every month to create a 4-course tasting menu of desserts only, paired with coffee by Ozone.
I absolutely loved every dessert by chef Adam Degg of Wild Honey. An exciting experience, one I would highly recommend to anyone. Don’t miss this if you live in London!

New on my blog Mondomulia.com - a recipe for Sweet Potato Brownies adapted from Deliciously Ella blog! These brownies are vegan, dairy-free and they can be made gluten-free too by replacing wholemeal flour with buckwheat flour! Also they taste great! Find the recipe here: http://mondomulia.com/sweet-potato-brownies

My photos of Copenhagen’s Paludan Cafe! :)

Paludan Book Café  |  Copenhagen

Paludan Book Café (Paludan bogcafé) is one of the very first book cafés in Copenhagen. It was a combined publisher and bookshop supplying the students from the faculties of law, political science and social sciences with books and other materials for studying.

Today it thrives as a café that serves great simple food and cheap beer and cakes that you can enjoy in an awesome buzzling environment. The café is situated in the middle of the city on one of the main walking streets right next to the university and the Copenhagen Cathedral. It is only a five-minute walk from The Round Tower and Studenterhuset and also only five minutes from Nørreport St where you can catch busses, metro or trains to other parts of the city.

Paludan Book Café is a brilliant place to take a break from the sightseeing or to go for dinner before going to the concert at Trinitatis Church or a night out in central Copenhagen. It is also a great place to go for meetings if you are studying in Copenhagen, and you even have one of the main libraries right around the corner as well.

Lots of Copenhageners and lots of international students go to Paludan Book Café because of the unique atmosphere and great food, and I can only recommend anyone visiting the city to drop by and get a feeling of the special vibe of the place! And did I mention that they give student discount? Well, they do!
